Thirty Six Short Distillery is located at 23 Crosby Road, Virginia in South Australia and is owned and operated by Adelaide brothers Jon and Con Lioulios. They recently distilled and launched the first Rakia to be licensed and sold in Australia as a tribute to their late, Macedonian born father, Pando, whose dream was to distil traditional Rakia with a modern twist.

36 Short (Pando’s suit size) also produce a range of gins, one vodka, and now – Single Malt Whisky! The brothers grew up as market gardeners that instilled a passion for only the best quality produce. This dedication eventually led to their first single malt whisky release in late 2021, a shiraz and bourbon cask matured single malt. Jon and Con’s passion for family, friends and good times is the benchmark for 36 Short.
