Old Kempton Distillery is located at 26 Main Street Kempton, Tasmania, in and around an 1840’s colonial inn known as Dysart House about a 40-minute drive from Hobart. Their single malt whisky is made in small batches only, with never more than 300 bottles per release. Every small batch produced, is unique to the distillery with their Ex Pinot cask and Ex Port casks having won Gold, Silver and Bronze in the World Whisky Awards in the past 3 years.

If you visit their distillery at Kempton you will find their cellar door/café boasting two alluring, restored dining rooms and a relaxing courtyard where you can sit and enjoy some home cooked treats from the café menu. The Cask Lounge is full of genuine chesterfield chairs, a beautiful cask and botanic wall, the perfect environment to watch life go by, with a dram in hand of course…..
