Eduard and Julie Otter are brother and sister and are the co-founders of Otter Craft Distilling (OCD) Their spirits journey started in Eduard’s garage through years of experimentation where Eduard began formulating ideas that reflected his love for whiskey (and vodka), strong respect for tradition, provenance and a high level of innovation.

Fast forward five short years to 2019, and Otter Craft Distilling moved from under Eduard’s garage, to its first premises in St Peters, NSW (just outside of Sydney) where every element of their operation reflects a process that combines tradition and innovation. Then in 2022, OCD outgrew their Saint Peters facility and have now move to 30 Halloran St, Lilyfield where they’ve converted an enormous warehouse into a fully-fledged Distillery. Never doing things in halves, OCD also built ‘Bar 26’ on the distillery property that launched in 2023. We call it an ‘Urban Bar with a Speakeasy twist’. A place to leave all your worried behind where you’re served artisanal cocktails, seasonal food, a fantastic, top tier whisky selection with an atmosphere that’s second to none. Bar 26 is also our partner bar for all things Samaroli and our latest independent bottling venture, Truth and Consequence.
