Aberlour is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery located in Aberlour, Strathspey, Scotland.
Aberlour’s single malt whisky is named after where it’s made. It means ‘the mouth of the chattering burn’ in Gaelic, and this mountain stream is part of the Aberlour story. Immersed in centuries of legend and surrounded by the breathtaking Highland scenery of Ben Rinnes, the village of Aberlour lies at the very heart of Speyside where the Lour burn joins the River Spey. The pristine and pure, soft spring water used for making Aberlour whisky is drawn from neighbouring natural springs. These natural resources along with the founder’s passion for making the best single malt combine to produce the complex and multi-layered whiskies of Aberlour.
