Cadenhead's

Cadenhead is Scotland’s oldest independent bottler. The firm of William Cadenhead Limited, Wine and Spirit Merchants, was founded in 1842 and was in the ownership of the same family until it was taken over in 1972 by the well-known Campbeltown firm of J & A Mitchell & Co. Ltd who own Springbank Distillery and Mitchell’s Glengyle. With over 175 years’ experience as an independent bottler, and as the world finds less and less age stated malts, Cadenhead’s are still ageing casks for the future that will have real vintage. Their whisky is rare and exclusive with a very limited allocation worldwide as every expression is only released as a single cask and/or small batch bottling.
