Made with Viking soul since 1798, Highland Park is a multi-award-winning scotch whisky distillery based in Kirkwall, Orkney. It is the most northerly whisky distillery in Scotland and one of the most remote scotch whisky distilleries in the world. The whisky, like their island home, is shaped by a turbulent climate and wind-lashed seas. The salty air and the island’s geology contribute to the rich character of Highland Park single malts.
The northerly island location gives passage to rare ‘heather’ peat from the distillery’s own moor and the distillery draws its water from the same mineral rich springs to the east of the facility as it did over 200 years ago resulting in a rich and layered whisky lauded by aficionados, enthusiasts and experts around the world.
