Tasting notes
We thought the Pact 2 was special but this time around, creator: John E. Rempe has turned the complexity level right up thanks to the American Cabernet Sauvignon barrel finish allowing for a fruitier and bolder beast with lashings of dark berries, sweet corn and wafts of espresso with a long and smooth finish.
Producer’s Tasting Notes
Nose: Caramel, vanilla, stone fruit, cocoa, oak.
Palate: Caramel, vanilla, creamy smooth from the barrel finish, toasted oak, apricots, higher spice than the previous pacts but still ultra-smooth for the proof.
Finish: Long lingering spice, balanced and surprisingly smooth at this high proof, with lasting caramel and oak.
