Little Book is an ongoing annual release curated by Freddie Noe, eighth generation Beam family member and son of current Beam master distiller, Fred Noe and grandson of original Booker’s legend, Booker Noe.
Little Book Chapter 5 ‘The Invitation’ has just landed on our virtual shelves in very limited quantities. The name of this year’s chapter offers fans of American whiskey an opportunity (Invitation) to experience liquid that Master distiller; Fred Noe’s son, Freddie Noe personally had a hand in creating and blending, showcasing the innovation of Little Book chapters over the last five years.
The four liquids that Freddie Noe chose to go into this expression is a blend of 2-year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, 3-year Kentucky Straight Malted Rye Whiskey, 5-year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and 15-year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The blend is bottled uncut at 116.8 proof and was only available in the USA.
Freddie Noe comments:
“The Invitation was one of the more difficult chapters to perfect. Harmonizing such varied liquids and ages requires delicate balancing of flavors and immense amounts of patience, but the effort was certainly worth it when you taste the final product. Little Book Chapter 5 is my way of inviting Little Book drinkers into different aspects of the whiskey space, regardless of if they’ve been along for the ride since Chapter 1 or are just tasting Little Book for the first time’.
