Eagle Rare is a very limited release and part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection which comes out in the USA usually once a year.

This 2016 expression was bottled from 32 barrels selected by taste that saw a 66.1% loss to evaporation. An interesting fact is despite the label stating 17 years, some releases are actually aged for 19 years. Buffalo Trace doesn’t have to re-register a new label each year and instead uses the same label as long as the age increases and doesn’t decrease from the stated 17 Years.
