Each Spring and Fall, Heaven Hill distillery releases a new edition in their Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond series. Inspired by the original 1950’s Old Fitzgerald diamond decanter, the packaging and series pays homage to both the history of the Old Fitzgerald brand and the historic Bottled-in-Bond designation.

Distilled at the Heaven Hill distillery, this Old Fitzgerald 15yo has a mash bill of corn, wheat, and malted barley. Laid to rest in new charred oak barrels and bottled at 100 proof, Old Fitzgerald Bottled in Bond is an incredibly complex Bourbon Whiskey. Whereas most Bourbons use corn, malted barley, and rye, Old Fitzgerald replaces the rye with a splashing of wheat according to Old Fitzgerald’s time-honoured formula.

Interesting fact.
The unique bottle features a vintage-inspired label with an angled key, representing the brand’s slogan since the 1940’s: “Your key to hospitality.” The front label also displays Kentucky’s state seal and a prominent brand banner replicating a pre-Prohibition label.

About Old Fitzgerald
The Old Fitzgerald line is well-known for its distilling pedigree, as the brand was first registered in 1884 and was eventually sold to “Pappy” Van Winkle during Prohibition. In 1999, Heaven Hill bought the brand and began distilling it at Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, KY.
