Our Tasting Notes
Just like the tasting profile suggests, this whiskey is not for the unseasoned palate. It’s huge, the Razorback of the Jack Daniels entire portfolio. A cauldron of sweet corn, searing vanilla, toasted oak and cascading malt, all sizzling on a Tennessee hotbed of cornbread and chocolate-cinnamon spice.

Description
Following on from our sold-out Chapter 5 – ‘Barrel Making’ bottle comes Chapter 6 – ‘Maturation’, our final release in the six-part series that pays tribute to the unique six step process that goes into making Jack Daniel’s. Chapter 6 celebrates the many elements that affects how Jack’s whiskey ages – from the barrel itself, to its location in the barrelhouse. That’s why to this day Jack Daniel still says, “Our whiskey is only deemed ready when it tastes ready”.
Although the collectable appeal of this bottle and series is undeniable, we hope a few of you get the opportunity to drink this expression as it’s a real celebration of the Lincoln County Process. The flavour profile we chose for this Chapter is ‘Full Bodied & Robust’
Jack Daniels Barrel Strength is a natural and raw expression just as nature intended. The whiskey is released into the bottle directly from the finest single barrels located on the top floors of the Jack Daniels barrelhouses. Bottled at full proof, this Tennessee whiskey stands out for its boldness and depth of flavour while retaining the richness we all love about Single Barrel releases.
