The nose and taste carry huge cereal notes, virtually unpalatable with a really harsh and grainy bite, the spirit remains oily and raw.
After Charcoal Mellowing.
The transformation is unbelievable. Something we hope all of you get the opportunity to sample side by side. The nose is instantly refined, carrying those soft charcoal notes we’ve all grown to love about Old No.7. The palate is now smooth, vibrant and clean, ready for its 4+ years slumber in virgin, charred American Oak barrels that the distillery producers from scratch.
