Official Tasting Notes
From Jeff Arnett, ex-Master Distiller at Jack Daniels
Nose: Clean soft nose. Sweet, vanilla and caramel in character. Nothing harsh, very palatable.
Palate: Lots of flavour on the tongue, sweet and tingling. Warming with very subtle oak.
Finish: A warm short finish. There’s an absence of oak and that’s the power of the second pass of charcoal mellowing. The perfect pour for somebody new to whiskey drinking.

Bottling Notes
As JD fans, we’ve been collecting their Aussie made cradles since the inaugural 1.75L black label edition in 2001. Fast forward 19 years and we still managed to be speechless with the quality and style of maker- Pub Art’s (based in Melbourne) handmade design. Each cradle is created using genuine Jack Daniel’s American oak barrels. The uprights holding the bottle are the actual staves of the barrel complete with inside char with the plaque on the front of each cradle individually numbered. This edition has the “B” prefix on the serial number as opposed to the previous Edition which had the “A” prefix.
It comes with a bespoke leather hang-tag and a 1 litre bottle of Gentleman Jack that is double charcoal mellowed with barrels selected from the bottom two floors of the barrelhouse where the climate is less intense for the “smoothest expression of Jack Daniel’s”.
