Description
One of Michter’s most limited production items, Michter’s 10 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye showcases premium American rye, aged for at least a full decade in fire-charred new American white oak barrels. As a result, it delivers exceptional depth and structure.

Notably, Michter’s does not release this whiskey every year. Instead, the team waits until select barrels meet their precise flavour standards. If they fall short, the release is skipped entirely. Therefore, the 2025 edition stands as a true “green-lit” vintage, not just another routine drop.

Interesting Fact
Michter’s 10 Year Old delivers a distinctive “Kentucky-style” rye that breaks from the usual profile.
Unlike many ryes, especially those from Indiana and Canada, it uses a mashbill with more corn and malted barley alongside the rye. This creates a richer, rounder character with a subtle bourbon-like depth. One of our favourites!
