Description
The Bomberger’s Declaration PFG (Precision Fine Grain) 2025 Release is a new, limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from Michter’s Distillery in Kentucky, bottled at 50.1% ABV. It marks the first time Michter’s has introduced a Bomberger’s expression featuring the distinctive “Precision Fine Grain” designation.

The bourbon is initially aged in new, toasted and charred American oak barrels, then finished in a second, custom-made French oak cask crafted from fine-grain wood sourced from the Tronçais, Allier, Nevers, and Vosges forests of France.

The French oak staves used for these finishing casks are air-dried outdoors for a minimum of 40 months, then carefully toasted and charred to exact specifications. This extended seasoning and precision coopering transform the wood’s chemistry, enriching the bourbon with complex layers of flavour, depth, and character unique to this 2025 Bomberger’s release.
