Description
This 2021 release of Bomberger’s is a robust Kentucky straight bourbon bottle at 108 proof with a broad spectrum of distinctly, rich characters. For the ageing of this release, Bomberger’s maturation team chose special barrels, some of which were made from Chinquapin oak that has been naturally air-dried for over 3 years. While similar barrels were used in the 2019 and 2020 releases, this year the production team opted to accentuate the rich characters and depth by adjusting the char levels of the Chinquapin oak barrels, therefore resulting in a wonderfully distinctive Kentucky straight bourbon.

Chinquapin oak (Quercus muehlenbergii). Chinquapin is a type of white oak native to central and eastern North America, a species of oak that imparts strong character.

Australia’s 2021 allocation was even smaller that last years, so we’re limiting this expression to one bottle per customer.
