Official tasting notes.
Expect lots of cherry on the nose followed by butterscotch with hints of brown sugar and oak. Toasted caramel, cinnamon and oak greet the palate, followed by a long finish of coffee, herbs and oak.

Bottling Notes
The fourth release of the coveted O.F.C. Bourbon Whiskey, distilled in 1994 and aged in 25 years has now landed on our Australian shores in a tiny allocation.
The O.F.C. name is a tribute to the Old Fashioned Copper Distillery, the original name of the distillery now known as Buffalo Trace. The expression also honours the types of fermentation vats and stills previously used to make this rare bourbon whiskey. It is said that the copper used on the display box and crystal bottle is the actually copper that once lined the fermentation vats at the old distillery.
Like previous releases, this 1994 Vintage comes in a revolving, polished wooden display-case with in-laid copper plate displaying the vintage year. Inside the wooden case lies a provenance card and a hand-cut crystal decanter with real copper lettering in-laid in the bottle with a hand applied paper label. The label on the back of the bottle notes the milestones for the year 1994, such as the premier of Pulp Fiction, Nelson Mandela’s inauguration and OJ Simpson’s police chase. The provenance card contains the same information found on the back label.
Only 1085 bottles were released to the world market.
