Description:
With a mash bill of 72% Corn, 18% Rye and 10% Malted Barley, this rare expression is Old Forester’s 20th iteration of its limited-edition, vintage-dated Birthday Bourbon that pays tribute to founder George Garvin Brown’s birthday. 2020 also marks the 150th year of the company he began in 1870.

This is the third Birthday Bourbon to be bottled at the Old Forester Distilling Co. on Louisville’s Historic Whiskey Row. Bottled at 98 proof, the release is made up of 95 barrels, aged 10 years, and barrelled on June 5, 2010. After showing exceptionally unique character during a tasting panel with the 10-year-old barrels chosen specifically for this 2020 Birthday Bourbon. The yield of this expression was never released however, the Distillery tells us that the full allotment of the product represents one day’s production of Old Forester.
