Our tasting notes.
A real flavour monster at 61.2% ABV – Think tree sap, autumn leaves, orange blossoms, mandarin flesh, raw honeycomb, old-school mint paddies, and vanilla bean ice-cream on the nose, quite intense but never overpowering for such a high ABV. Traditional Pinot notes hit the palate in the form of baking spices, raspberry and a hint of forest floor with a fascinating finish that’s drying and fruity.
Final thoughts
A cool winter’s day dram under the crisp sun. No need for water with this beauty! A well constructed whisky displaying a wonderful balance of spirit, flavour and toasted oak.
