This rare cask expression from Adams distillery was bottled at cask strength from 20L and 100L French oak, ex-port casks. The distillery tried many drams at multiple strengths for this release, and found that 51% ABV was the magic number as it showcased the intense character and flavour of the whisky, delivering a “big chocolate forward bomb with lots of cherry”.
