Dark lashings of raw Christmas cake, Turkish coffee and Commandaria (dessert wine from Cypress) join a bandeau of flavours including Manuka honey, plum juice and caramelised-condensed-milk. Gentle layers of oak and char softly reveal themselves in a memorable finale of considerable length.
Final thoughts
Add a little water and the whisky absolutely sings with floral and candied notes.
