Using traditional bourbon casks, the Adams Distillery have aged this whisky in a non-traditional way. Their unique half-filled “Slosh” cask program where they half fill casks and roll them around regularly to develop and enhance the whisky, has proven to be a real success. They also decided to batch in some smaller casks to create a whisky that is both well balanced and complex.
