Justifiably named ‘Destiny’, this is Amber Lane’s very first release, a marriage of whiskies aged for at least four years in 250L Pedro Ximenez casks, Apera casks and ex-Heavin Hill bourbon barrels resulting in a full bodied and complex single malt that is absolutely divine.

About Amber Lane Distillery
The Amber Lane distillery is nestled within the lush hills of the Yarramalong Valley, on the central coast of NSW. Distillation is performed by their 3,600 litre Copper Still, designed to maximise copper-contact. They use the very best seasoned barrels including Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso Sherry casks sourced directly from the Bodegas in Spain as well as Kentucky bourbon barrels. The distillery uses larger barrels than many other Australian whisky producers (mainly 200-250L casks) which is super refreshing in our opinion, and employing 700ml bottles will only make the whisky more ‘palatable’ for the masses.

Amber Lane whisky is non-chill filtered and with a conscious preference for releasing their whisky at higher alcohol strength, we call it a Win! Win! It also helps that their whisky is damn delicious – Expect big things from this Aussie distillery who have ticked all the right boxes, straight out of the gate.
