Description:
This Amber Lane origin indie was Double Sherry Cask matured – first in a French Oak Apera cask before being moved to an American Oak Oloroso cask. It then had a short but powerful finish in an American Oak Tempranillo cask from acclaimed NSW producer Vinden Wines, which produces minimal-intervention, award-winning wines from organically farmed, family-owned vineyards.
Whisky in isolation then employed a 3rd Fill American Oak Bourbon cask as a settling cask to bring all the flavours together, resulting in a complex, sweet and savoury whisky that demands peaceful contemplation.
