Description:
Selling out overnight at the distillery, the team at Bakery Hill have just unleashed their 5-year-old, triple cask matured ‘Eldorado’ Cask Strength which marks the first time the distillery has ever matured their spirit in apera casks. Firstly, their trademark Classic spirit was matured in American Oak ex-bourbon barrels for 3 years, before spending 12 months in apera (Australian Sherry) barrels from Seppeltsfield in the Barossa Valley. After soaking up the delightful, rich flavours inspired by the revered Spanish fortified, the whisky was then carefully re-casked back into American Oak to soften and refine for an additional year.
The distillery calls the result; “Layers upon layers of apera goodness with the traditional weight of clean bold Bakery Hill single malt whisky”.
Each bottle includes hand written production notes and a limited-edition collector tasting card.
