Description:
Hot off the heels of the incredibly popular and sold-out Eldorado first edition from a few years ago, comes Bakery Hill’s Second Eldorado release. This offering showcases the complex integration between American oak and French oak maturation on the traditional Bakery Hill Classic spirit once again. After second distillation the unpeated spirit was placed in a Seppeltsfield Barossa Valley Apera cask for 18 months, before a final maturation in American Oak ex-Bourbon cask for a period of just on 3 years.
The Distillery comments:
“We have ramped up the intensity and vibrancy of the sherry barrel influence with this release to produce a rich, sprightly, dense single malt. This whisky is dangerously drinkable from the bottle at 55% but may also improve with a couple of drops of water, and certainly with time in the glass.”
