Peter Bignell, owner of Belgrove Distillery defines his Bogan Burnout creation as ….”my most peated rye you will ever taste”. It’s a unique whisky definitely for the peat-lover that debuted at the Sydney Whisky Fair in 2019 as a pedal to the metal, spawned in Hades, peated, new-make rye at only 2 months old.

Then in October 2021, Belgrove released a 250ml version of Bogan Burnout that was officially whisky that virtually sold out overnight. And now we have this 500ml Edition of Bogan Burnout rye whisky that was matured for two and a half years in 2 x 50 litre Oak casks before being married together and bottled on the 17th of May 2022, non-chill-filtered at 52% ABV.
