Producer’s tasting notes
Think dark chocolate, vanilla, Christmas cake, spice, stewed stone fruits, sweet, spicy (toasted cinnamon and nutmeg) and oily. Finishes like a fine whisky should.

Here’s another belter of a cask-strength whisky from Tasmania’s Belgrove distillery aged in a 225L litre Tasmanian ex-Pinot Noir cask. It’s a real winner in our eyes because it marries together the spicy kick of the rye grain with the delicate sweetness of the pinot cask. Belgrove never ceases to amaze with the quality whisky constantly been released and unfortunately, we misplaced our tasting notes for this beauty and the bottle is long empty, but the memory is there.
