Behold another whisky monster from the creative minds of Brian and Genise Hollingworth. A peated, cask strength expression that roars “Black Gate” – coming in at an eye-bulging 71.3%alc. 😊

The release is named 520’s because it’s a marriage of 5 x 20 litre casks filled with spirit made from Bairds heavily peated malt, then milled, mashed, brewed, double-distilled and matured at the Black Gate distillery in Mendooran, NSW. The whisky was then decanted from the casks and bottled with nothing added or removed making it a true cask strength expression.
