Amber to the eye there is a hint of peat, plenty of vanilla and a little leather on the nose. The palate is subtle with honey upfront followed by some peppery spice. The finish is subtle clean peat.

Liquid Sunshine is the 3rd single malt whisky release from the team at ‘Ambassador Whisky’ (NSW Independent bottler) who have collaborated with Barrel & Batch for the very first time to create a whisky that ticks all the boxes in regard to Australian ‘Uisge Beath’.
Bottled at 54.8% ABV, this peated single cask whisky was distilled at Black Gate distillery in Mendooran under the watchful eyes of Aussie whisky legends, Brian and Genise Hollingworth, and then laid to rest in a re-coopered, 115 litre Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel for 3 years and 5 months.
