John Atkins (verified owner) –
Sweet Peat by name. Sweet Peat by nature. This is a play in 3 acts. Act 1 – the label Unfiltered, Uncoloured. I like that. No stand ins here. Original Cast. The almost reddish brown colour is all cask influence and you can taste the Apera up front. (First tasting only – once the genie is out of the bottle…the Apera…disappeara. The Peat is balanced in a supporting role, almost disappearing in act 2, there’s cherry (Glace’) and burnt toffee. No that’s too cliche’d, it’s Panela (unrefined dried sugar cane juice). Then in Act 3 the Peat comes centre stage to take a bow and the justified encore. Always leave your audience wanting more. I want more.
