Description:
We’re proud to announce that the owners of Cradle Mountain Distillery have given us access to their precious ‘uisce beatha’ directly from their Family Stock Collection to promote and sell. You will not find these whiskies on any other online platform other than the Cradle Mountain website (sold out) and our virtual shelves as all Cradle Mountain whisky releases sell out to their very successful ‘members only’ blue print. The idea is to get their whisky on to the palates of as many whisky enthusiasts as possible and we’re excited to play our part in making this happen.
This ‘Alpine Trail’ expression was created to commemorate the unique alpine landscape of Tasmania’s high country. Made with Macquarie barley and pure, Cradle Mountain spring water, the whisky was aged in New American Oak with a light charr influence and then bottled; non-chill filtered at 48.7% ABV.
The bottle is as visually stunning as the whisky is delightful with a clear mold of the Cradle Mountain vista built inside the bottle in 3D, making the expression a unique 600ml in volume.
