Description:
Cradle Mountain Distillery have generously given us access to their precious ‘uisce beatha’ directly from their private stock. You will not find these whiskies on any other online platform other than the Cradle Mountain website and our virtual shelves as all Cradle Mountain whisky sells out to their very successful ‘members only’ blue print.
This ‘Forest Trail’ expression was created to commemorate the forest landscape of Tasmania’s high country. Made with Macquarie barley and pure, Cradle Mountain spring water, the whisky was aged in Bourbon and Port Oak Heads with a heavy charr influence and then bottled; non-chill filtered at 48.8% ABV.
The packaging is as visually stunning as the liquid is rare, with a clear mold of the Cradle Mountain vista built inside the bottle in 3D, making the expression a unique 600ml in volume.
