Description:
This third release from Craft Works I AM…. series has the distillery take a different direction as they explore the concept of a single cask offering at natural cask strength that was matured in a second fill BLACK SOUL BEAST American Oak, PvG vintage port cask that was original filled in October 2016 and refilled on the 21st of November 2018. The whisky was created with the distillery’s signature I AM… mash bill using 100% NSW Riverina barley and roasted malts specially crafted at Voyager Craft Malt with locally sourced spring water from Wild Wolgan based in Lidsdale, NSW

“At 66.7% ABV, ‘Son of a Beast’ is a powerful and complex expression that’s refined in nature due to the 2nd fill cask. It demonstrates how Craft Works distillery is refined its house style of I AM…. This whisky is the “son of” our iconic, internationally awarded BLACK SOUL BEAST, has traits of its father but has a personality all of its own”
