Crafty calls this version of his 1st Capertee release “Heavy Flock – Heavy Char” and is the remains that was left over from the decanted vessel for the Capertee expression and its concentrated flavour. Like the remains of a gravy pan!!

Head Distiller Craig ‘ Crafty’ Field explains it best;
“I flocked The Capertee and at the bottom of the spirit receiver was the dregs that contained heavy flock and pieces of char. I thought “hey instead of filtering and filling more bottles, why not offer it to the whisky appreciators of old school whisky”!

It’s an absolute flavour bomb with great texture. There’s no filtering and the bottles are cloudy as they are packed with flock and char. It’s Crafty’s first attempt at vatting, re-casking and breaking-down the strength of a whisky from 68% to a tasty 48% ABV.
