Bottling Notes

The Capertee is the 1st ‘Cellar Door Only’ release crafted for local trade with an emphasis on local tourism. It will be ongoing release by name, but different in nature. Crafty, been the absolute legend that he is, threw a handful of bottles our way to make sure none of our loyal Aussie drinking customers miss out.

For this expression, the distillery sourced aging whisky spirit from Riverbourne Distillery and then re-casked 40 litres into a 100 litre Bourbon cask, and 20 litres into an ex Botrytis/whisky cask. Crafty then married both casks together after it matured to whisky and cut it down to the perfect drinking ABV of 48% with natural spring water.
