An excellent single cask tawny expression singing at 53.7%. Non chill filtered, this whisky catches the eye with deep caramel, which also pulls through on the tongue. Marvellous upfront residual, into a dry finish like burnt caramel on biscotti.

Description:
The Keystone Series is a selection of whiskies positioned at the apex of Cut Hill’s core range; the centrepiece of their release programme. These whiskies are hand selected by the distillery’s Head Distiller. Keystone series represents characters of individuality, premium quality, and offers something special for the palate to explore.
This expression is the inaugural Tawny release of Cut Hill’s Keystone series that was matured in a single, hand selected ex-tawny cask from McLaren Vale that yielded 120 bottles. The barrel has been seasoned across 15+ years with wine selected from the most superior vineyards in McLaren Vale. The barrel was heavily re-charred and filled in 2017.
