The palate is bright and driven, with a dusting of baking spices, flourishes of banana bread and drops of candied walnuts.
The finish highlights the cask’s significant age, with a chewy and spicy tannic line that will leave you salivating.

Description:
The Keystone Series is a selection of whiskies positioned at the apex of Cut Hill’s core range; the centrepiece of their release programme. These whiskies are hand selected by the distillery’s Head Distiller. Keystone series represents characters of individuality, premium quality, and offers something special for the palate to explore.
This expression is the inaugural Shiraz release of Cut Hill’s Keystone series that was matured in a single, hand selected ex-shiraz cask from McLaren Vale showing all the hallmarks of this uniquely Australian style. The barrel has been seasoned across 15+ years with wine selected from the most superior vineyards in McLaren Vale. The barrel was heavily re-charred and filled in 2017.
