Description:
Aged in a white wine cask for 2 years and 7 months and bottled at a cask strength, this is the highest proof whisky of the whole Dark Valley stable coming in at a palate bending 70.3% ABV. This small batch release is dedicated to our farmers, who’s hard work allows us to drink glorious Uisge Beatha (whisky) in all its iterations.

“Whisky begins with grain, the harvest of barley, and tilling the fields to prepare for the next season. Farmers are vital to the final product and their labour is so often overlooked in the
overall process. Without the hard work of those in the field, no-one would enjoy the amazing liquid that ends up in glasses all over the world. A whisky to celebrate the paddock and those
who till it.

This custom cask made for us by Transwood Cooperage imparts oak and crisp ripe fruit onto a chocolate malty spirit. Farmer’s Plough is a surprising dram, with a drinkability that belies its strength (and colour is deceptive for a white wine maturation), and has layers of flavour that complement each other for a very fun whisky that would go with any number of food pairings”.
