Description:
Dark Valley is an independent bottler created by the eclectic brain of our mate, Alex Moores who trusts us as the only retailer to sell his small batch expressions outside of his website.
Aged in an ex-port cask for 3 years and 1 month and bottled at a cask strength, this small batch release is dedicated to our olden day Conductors who would deliver the glorious whisky grain and filled whisky bottles all over our fine land.

“The backbone of so many country towns, and modern cityscapes for that matter, is the rail network. Many Scottish regions began making whisky in earnest when the trains could deliver the grain and distribute the resulting bottles. Something that is expected by all passengers when a locomotive is involved is punctuality, and in the old days this was the purview of the conductor. A whisky that’s flavour always arrives on schedule”
