Dark Valley is an independent bottler created by our mate, Alex Moores who trusts us as the only retailer to sell his small batch expressions outside of his website.

Aged in an ex-bourbon cask for 4 years and bottled at cask strength, this small batch release is dedicated to our hard-working coopers and their magical hammer that deliver the barrels that age the water of life for all to enjoy. The mighty ABV is just shy of 70% alc delivering a whisky for the true aficionado – Enjoy!

“The humble barrel is so critical to the flavour and aroma of a whisky. Using nothing but wooden staves and some metal hoops, the skilled coopers ensure that each cask is watertight so that the spirit can breathe and develop over time. So much precious liquid relies on the skilled and careful strike of the hammer. A whisky to celebrate the importance of a simple tool playing a
vital role.”
