Description:
In association with Dark Valley, we’re thrilled to be the exclusive retailer of their whisky on the Australian mainland as we do our part to ensure that bottles of their finest product end up in as many glasses across the country as possible.

To create this whisky, Dark Valley sourced ‘new make’ from the Spring Bay Distillery that was distilled in November 2015 and matured the spirit in a 20L bourbon cask for 1128 days at their custom build facility in Malbina, Tasmania. Once the whisky was deemed ready, it was then bottled at a cask strength of 60.5% alc yielding only 25 bottles.

“Willow wood and polished leather are common aromas in whisky, teleporting the drinker to a summer day walking onto the pitch with bat in hand. Hard hitting but precise, a skilled operator will hopefully leave victorious through nothing but their spirit and a little help from the wood. A whisky worthy of being opening batsman for the first eleven, and to make one want to up stumps and head back to the pavilion for a dram”
