Description:
Owner and independent bottler of Dark Valley whisky, Alex Moores took at short hiatus before releasing this Cygnet’s Nest bottling as he was busy making changes to his website, take stock of his casks, and working on some exciting new developments for the future. However, the team are back now with the Cygnet’s Nest.

This bottling continues the exceptional range of malt whisky from Belgrove, a distillery known for its rye whiskies, and integrates sweet cereals and malt quality with dry red fruit and long structured tannins for that bridge between ex-bourbon and fortified maturation. Having a look of the tub thumping ABV of 70.5%, the Angels definitely took their share in water rather than alcohol. A HUGE bottling from Dark Valley, definitely for the seasoned palate.

“Horses’ hooves would clatter to a stop as the dashing thief would bellow “I’m after a prize tonight”, and the carriage would abruptly stop amid winds that were as a torrent of darkness. The wealthy were taken for their jewels and more, like an opulent cask being forced to surrender its flavour and enrich the spirit thief. A prized whisky that will reward you with warmth on a cold night”.
