Description:
Hobart Whisky have once again upped the ante for this Winter Feast expression, exclusively released for Dark Mofo 2023. Distillery Manager and all-round whisky legend; John Jarvis has given us access as the only retailer on the mainland to stock this revered bottling that see’s Devil’s Distillery continue with their maple theme from previous releases.
The distillery has bottled this beauty at its natural cask strength of 58.8% alc. compared to the 2022 expression that clocked in at 55%. This exceptional cask is also the sibling of the highly sought-after 1st edition from the 2019 Winter Feast, making it truly special. The cask journey began with Bourbon, then Rum, and finally, Maple Syrup, resulting in a unique flavour profile that perfectly balances the richness of American oak and the sweet embrace of maple.
