Our tasting notes
NOSE: Quite big on the alcohol which is no surprise at 63.4% ABV. Stone fruits – peaches and cream with cinnamon drizzled in maple syrup.
PALATE: Intense yet super fresh. More stone fruits on the palate – not too viscous, followed by demerara sugar and hazelnuts
FINISH: A fresh and vibrant medium finish with a possible hint of smoke.
NOTE: Adding a little water really opens up this whisky allowing it to display a sweeter fruitier bouquet.

This Fannys Bay Port Barrel “Cask Strength” Tasmanian whisky is the creation of Mathew and Julie Cooper who run a bespoke, family owned distillery on the Northern coastal waters of Tasmania where the purest sea breezes’ assist them in making lively single malt whisky.
This cask strength is one of the flagship whiskies in their small batch range that never last long on our virtual shelves.
