Boutique-y’s first ever independent bottling series featuring only Australian whisky distilleries would not be complete without the incomparable Angela and Gareth Andrews (Fleurieu distillery) joining the mix. TBWC have bottled a parcel of delightful ex-sherry cask, single-malt whisky that Ang and Gareth distilled in their copper pot stills that are modelled off the stills from Coal Ila distillery in Islay, Scotland, one of our favourite Scottish distilleries.

With a bundle of awards under their belts, Fleurieu run an extra-long, eight-day ferment, using brewer’s yeast, resulting in a single malt with a lick of salinity, and the distinct Caol Ila chewiness.

We’re offering these beauties at limited to one per Customer as one of the most anticipated Australian independent releases ever to grace our sun-drenched shores!

“Our label recreates an incident that actually happened. The distillery is an old train shed, and there are tracks running right through one of the tracks. Today, casks sit on top of the old track. The train line is now mostly disused; however, a group of steam train enthusiasts occasionally operate a train on the line. Some years back they lost control and crashed it through the doors, into the distillery”.
