Description:
This expression from the House of Duckett is a blend of new-make spirit from Adams, Belgrove and Nant that was matured in Bourbon, Sherry and Port casks. ‘Audentis Fortuna Iuva’ is Latin for ‘Fortune Favours the Bold’ or the Bald if you will. Long live the follicular challenged brotherhood! lol

Owner and Independent Bottler, Tim Duckett comments:
“Audentis Fotuna Iuva is a blend where we have improved on previous models, built the sauropod shape and injected some “mongrel”. Contains oats and malt and peat. We showed it as a clean skin, at the recent Whisky Fair in Sydney. It was rather well received”

The sauropod Tim mentioned is a Brontosaurus, channelling his inner Monty Python for his whisky dogma, paying tribute to this wily dinosaur. It’s a throwback to the John Cleese character; Anne Elk’s “theory on the Brontosaurus” which states…. “each Brontosaurus is thin on one end, then much thicker in the middle and then thin at the far end again”. Very much like the tasting profile Tim engineers in his whiskies.
