Description:
The end of an era is here folks, this Beagle 12 is the crescendo of Heartwood’s Beagle expressions that spanned years under the watchful eye (and sceptre) of Heartwood whisky. This final bottling has a Sherry/Muscat Base with some genetics of port and peat left over from The Ghost expression that Tim released in November 2022.

Tim Duckett comments;
“The Beagles have always been experimental. This final 12 is stunning. You will open the bottle and then, miraculously, it is empty. (Just maybe it is as experimental as we make believe)”

The Beagle range of Heartwood whiskies pay homage to Charles Darwin’s ship that was called ‘HMS Beagle’ and his voyage of discovery and the evolution of whisky. The Voyage of the Beagle is the title most commonly given to the book he wrote and published in 1839 bringing him considerable fame and respect.
