Release Your Inner Mongrel – Here’s a tasty treat from the ‘House of Duckett’ using 100% peated new-make from Fanny’s Bay distillery in Tasmania. The spirit was then aged in a 2nd fill, re-educated Oloroso sherry cask and bottled at 63% alc in July 2024.

Chatting with Tim, he comments:
“…. Some have said we have forgotten our past. Where are the old Heartwoods?
I will argue that we have improved and produce better crafted/drinking whiskies that appeal to a broader spectrum of palates. However, bowing to ever increasing pressure, here’s one to appease the doom sayers – at Heartwood we aim to please”
