Description:
Heartwood is not motivated by market forces (commercial drivers) or deadlines either, letting the whisky do the talking when it’s ready to be bottled and released, no matter what the age. And ‘Vats out of the Bag’ is yet another example of this ethos. Heartwood owner and bottler; Tim Duckett has aged the new make spirit from Nant and Adams in port, sherry and bourbon casks with 2nd fill sherry thrown into the soiree to complete the bottling.
